After Taking this Class... |
When I decided to take this class, it was solely only for myself to 'check off a box' on my graduation requirements. I never even heard about Digital History at all until looking for classes to take for my requirements. Deciding to take this class was such a last minute, I literally added this class a day before classes started and I had no clue what I was getting into. Personally, I strongly dislike history since I was never a history person at all throughout my life, thus far.

Before this class, I only took this class just because I needed something to fill spaces on my class schedule. When Professor Crawford began to assign us people to interview, my first thought was "oh no I have to actually talk to these people and I'm going to make a fool of myself to professors or persons that I do not know at all". I was genuinely a complete nervous wreck. However, now that I've interviewed people for our class project, I owe it all to Professor Crawford, the project got me to get outside my comfort zone and really opened up both my eyes and mind. After completing my final project, it was a major eye-opener in my own opinion. Never would I have thought I would have to conduct my own research. In the end, this class has been a real eye-opener, it made me become more open-minded and more confident, and it helped me discover all the technologies that I would never think of using in my life.
